Dreamer

Our Dreamer Collection with over 20 hues, which includes Dreamer White, is made of soft, color-consistent, family-friendly, corrected-grain hides. This versatile leather has a good degree of protection making it appropriate for seating in homes or for contract and hospitality projects. The 100% top-grain cowhide comes from South America. This leather is aniline dyed and lightly buffed. With its natural grain and matt surface finish, Dreamer’s combination of softness and added thickness combine to bring it an exaggerated patterning that is not tied to patina as is the case with so many leathers. Though the grain is obvious, there is a contemporary feel to this leather.

Amadeus

Amadeus is a soft and luxurious full-grain leather that offers a sumptuous hand to the touch and has all of the unique characteristics of uncorrected hides, as you can see in this swatch of our Amadeus Canyon. It has a subtle sheen and moderate shading with natural imperfections that are part of its inherent beauty. This is a 100% top-grain cowhide leather that is aniline drum dyed with a slight pigmented spray coat to provide color continuity from hide to hide, which also provides an extra layer of protection for easy daily care. It is then treated to a translucent wax coat that makes it a durable choice for active families with children and pets. The luxe array of colors means there’s an offering for any type of design style.

SoftTouch

SoftTouch is made up of a combination of leather, which is a crust of European split cowhide; and fabric, a very thin microfiber of high quality that is made in Italy. It can be described as a technological nubuck because it has the look and soft touch of suede but with a surface finish that is more stain and water resistant. This makes it easy to clean and maintain, unlike nubuck. The process to create it is very technical and includes high seals for color fastness. The material tailors exceptionally well and stains can be cleaned with a damp cotton cloth and liquid soap. It is great for families, and for contract and hospitality projects. SoftTouch Black is one of a dozen colors we have in this collection.

Longhorn

Longhorn leather is hand-finished and kiss-buffed to give it a buttery soft nubuck-like feel and a distressed appearance. It has a moderate degree of protection and is notable for the highs and lows of the shading within each hide, which is part of the inherent beauty of this leather, and for its velvety touch and plump thickness. The 100% top grain cowhide comes from South American hides that are hand-sanded to provide the surfaces with a slightly distressed feel. We offer the artisanal, full-aniline leathers in a triad of neutrals that include brown, a very deep green, and black, this swatch our Longhorn Desert.

Versailles

Versailles is a leather that has a hand-wiped, sauvage finish, which has a two-tone effect that adds depths to its surface and provides the material with a vintage look. Though it has a good degree of protection, as a natural leather, shading and imperfections are inherent characteristics of these hides. Because the 100% top grain cowhide leather of South American origin is hand-antiqued, this is one of our offerings that is most often chosen for western-style and traditional settings with time-honored aesthetics. The patterns in the leather flows in lively drifts on the colors we offer, this one called Versailles Chocolate.

Cambridge

Cambridge leather is buffed and hand-finished to give the surface a weathered, distressed appearance. It has a sumptuously soft, velvety hand to the touch and a moderate degree of protection. Each hide has unique areas of shading that encompass both highs and lows, these natural characteristics to be expected with all uncorrected leathers. The 100% top grain cowhide, which is of South American origin, is aniline dyed and hand-antiqued to lend it an artisanal appearance. We offer the vibrant leather in several colors, including Cambridge Azteca.

Cartier

Cartier is a stunning Italian full-grain leather that undergoes a specialized tanning process to give it a smooth grain and a high-sheen finish. It is particularly suited for contemporary settings given its range of classic and fashion-forward colors within a comprehensive palette. It has all of the unique natural characteristics and shading that highlight the beauty of full-grain leathers. These are enhanced by a coating of light wax and oil impregnation for a slight pull-up effect and a glossy finish. This is a 100% top-grain cowhide leather with natural distressing and a very smooth hand. These hides are tanned in Italy using traditional recipes with contemporary machinery and environmental standards. This colorway is our Cartier Amethyst.

Brompton

Brompton is an Italian full-grain, pull-up leather that has waxes and oils injected into its surface to give it a high-sheen finish and depth. The surface of the hides become distressed as the waxes and oils heat up, exhibiting dramatic highs and lows. This leather will show signs of use but has a good degree of protection and is designed to have a rugged appearance. Brompton leather blends today’s technology with the dedication and skill of old-world artisans from a one-hundred-and-fifty-year-old Italian tannery. We offer this 100% top grain cowhide leather in two shades of brown, this colorway called Saddle.

Coachella

Coachella is a sumptuous full-grain Italian leather, which is gently hand-finished to enhance its buttery soft touch. It has a low degree of protection to avoid sacrificing any of its incredible velvety feel so it isn’t recommended for high-traffic situations. It is perfect for people looking for the “best of the best,” as the 100% top grain cowhide is truly a premier aniline leather in one of its purest forms. With a unique and subtle waxed surface, Coachella will develop a wonderful patina over time. An incredible point with this material is that the luxurious look and feel will grow even more expressive over time. We offer the leather in several colors, including Coachella Tan.

La Royale

La Royale is one of the finest full-grain leathers on the market, the hides sourced from the highest-quality North American steers. The natural, pure aniline leather with a very light wax coating has a matte finish and luxuriously soft hand. This is the most natural leather we use to cover our upholstery, as there is no surface correction, which is the case with all ultra-soft, natural-grain hides. This means that shading and natural characteristics are inherent within each hide to make each one unique. We have a comprehensive range of colors for any type of setting, from contemporary to traditional, including this colorway, which is La Royale Currant.

Legends

Legends is a thick, heavy-weight, full-grain leather that provides a piece of furniture the look of being covered in a natural material without sacrificing a wonderful soft touch. It has been hand-finished to give it a rugged appearance that makes it perfect for a lodge, ranch, ski chalet, or any western setting. Because Legends is treated to multiple applications of aniline dyes, it has a good degree of protection and a plump touch. As is the case with all full-grain hides, shading and natural characteristics do exist, which combine to create the inherent beauty of the material. The 100% top-grain cowhide, which comes from American steer hides, is available in an array of colors that includes Legends Bison.

Verdecca

Verdecca is a specialty leather that has a smooth, matte finish and an inviting nubuck-style nap to the touch. This distressed, pull-up leather has been lightly brushed with beeswax to achieve the matte finish and the slightly aged appearance. Known for the velvety finish, the material does exhibit some healed scars and natural markings, which are characteristics inherent in most hides. Verdecca, which is finished in Italy on European hides, has a color palette that is light and fresh, which makes it perfect for contemporary and coastal settings. It has a moderate degree of protection but will show signs of use. The 100% top-grain cowhide leather comes in a range of neutral hues, including this Verdecca Ash.

Rodeo

Rodeo is an Italian kiss-buffed leather with a unique crackled finish on its surface. The waxes and oils that are used to finish the material of each hide give it a rugged and distressed appearance that enhances the natural shading and imperfections that make each hide one-of-a-kind. Tanned in Italy on European hides, this leather has a slight pull-up and was toggle-dried to retain the natural grain on its surface, which will only improve as the material ages. The clear top- coat gives it great durability, though it will show signs of use over time. The striking range of colors in which this heavily patterned leather is offered includes Rodeo Cement.

Maestro Artisano

Maestro Artisano leather is our most unique upholstery material. These Italian full-grain hides are cut, sewn, and upholstered before they undergo a meticulous hand-coloring and finishing process that takes place once the furniture is fully made. Each piece of furniture covered in this100% cowhide has its own ERH signature, as no two are alike. This is because the detail work is undertaken by a team of leather artisans. The finished effect is a vintage appearance which enhances and highlights the natural shading and characteristics of the sumptuously soft hides. These exceptional treatments are available in a range of neutrals, including this Maestro Artisan Bittersweet.

Nouveaux

Nouveaux is a full-grain leather that undergoes a special tanning process to enhance the size of its surface pattern, which gives it a striking “pebble grain” appearance. This also results in slightly more patina to bring out the richness in the natural material. It has a good degree of protection and comes in a wide variety of colors to make it a versatile and popular leather, an excellent choice for families looking for a step up in touch and feel. The 100% top-grain cowhide leather has a thickness that provides the furniture it covers with a wonderful lofty feel. This is one of our leathers that includes bright colors for a contemporary palette, this colorway called Nouveaux Bark.

Hand-Tooled

Our hand-tooled patterns are embossed on our Maestro Artisano leather, which is our most unique upholstery material. A variety of patterns are available to be stamped on the surfaces of these 100% cowhide leathers. These are also hand-colored and finished by our team of leather artisans, which means they will have their own ERH signature and no two pieces will be alike. This is because the detail work is undertaken by a team of leather artisans. Patterns that we offer include Florentine Heritage, shown here, which is an intricate floral pattern; Polo Damask, which exhibits patterning reminiscent of the historical fabrics for which it is named; Terrapin Saddle, a tortoiseshell pattern; and Bittersweet Croc, a crocodile pattern with a pebbly surface for the ultimate in texture.

Hair-on-Hide

Our Hair-on-Hide offerings are sourced from100% cowhide leather. We offer many different hides that include Brindle shown here; brown-and-white; and palomino, though we can also source other types of patterns so we welcome special requests. Though hair-on-hide has a reputation for bringing a vintage feel to furniture, we have a number of contemporary designs that transform the material into textural elements for modern interiors. This is one of the materials that takes great skill to wrap and sew so that there is a seamless feel to the surfaces of the upholstery.

Coyote

Coyote is a full-grain leather that is heavily waxed and luxurious. The grain is naturally rugged in appearance, which is enhanced by the application of heavy wax, heat, and ultra-fine oils. This means the natural material will continually produce a uniquely authentic and rustic look. Like a fine wine, Coyote will become softer and develop a rich patina over time. The liveliness of the grain on this leather remains unchanged from color to color, though with some the patterning may be more pronounced than with others. Hues are available in a range of browns, this colorway called Coyote Graphite.

Stardust

Stardust is a leather in fashion-forward colors that will appeal to those who prefer contemporary aesthetics, though the neutrals are also fitting for transitional, traditional, and mid-century modern interiors. It has a natural grain and a semi-aniline finish that is family-friendly. The way these subtle pebbly leathers are processed also makes them environmentally friendly, as no sodium chloride is used during the tanning process and the treatment of the leather involves strict control of the use of chemical substances. The contemporary hues include a bright red, a luxe green, a sky blue, and pastels. These pale tones, as well as the rich browns, tans, grays, and black are perfect for rooms with time-honored aesthetics. This colorway is called Stardust Alabaster.

Sundance

Sundance is a natural-grain, aniline leather that has been hand-sanded to create texture and depth, which brings the surfaces of the hides a vintage feel. This particular leather with its patina is a favorite for western lodges, ranches, ski chalets, and mountain homes. The way these leathers are processed also makes them environmentally friendly, as no sodium chloride is used during the tanning process and the treatment of the leather involves strict control of the use of chemical substances. The rich colors in which we offer Sundance include light, medium, and dark browns; a deep blue; and a green with a beautifully aged appearance. This colorway is called Sundance Africa.

El Capitan

El Capitan is crafted in Italy on European raw material, the process used creating a distinctive aesthetic that exudes a rich and rugged elegance. It is a full-bodied leather with a soft surface that showcases the inherent characteristics of each hide. Dimensions of color and rich pull-up qualities throughout the hide provide subtle variations in depth to enhance this leather’s visual appeal. The array of colors we offer in this luxurious material include rich browns from dark brown to caramel-colored hues with tremendous patina, a luminous green, and a deep gray. This colorway is called El Capitan Chocolate.

Providence

Providence is a waxed, full-aniline leather with a fresh artisanal feel due to its natural shading and a hand-sanding treatment, which creates the distressed surfaces on the hides. This also brings Providence a soft, almost velvety touch, which makes it a popular choice for high-end interiors. The color palette we offer includes hues for nearly every stylistic preference, from browns for traditional spaces to pastels for classically tailored rooms, and juicy hues for lovers of contemporary design. One of the most interesting things about this particular leather is that some of the colors—the pale and dark blue, browns, and dark gray, for instance—show the patterning more succinctly than the others. This colorway is called Providence Truffle.
